Some of our favorite looks from Chanel Spring/Summer 2013 haute couture collection. The collection is romantic and delicate yet edgy with unexpected detailing — ethereal dresses are matched thigh high boots that resemble lace tights, what looks like heavy tweeds are in fact woven ribbons of silk, tulle and satin, the “print” on some of the dresses are actually embroidery (which took “two thousand hours to make”). In all the looks, shoulders are dramatically highlighted — they are “framed” with structural accents, sequinned yokes and feathers.
