Chic City Wedding in Downtown Chicago

We love weddings in the city as much we love cake (read: A LOT) so this lovely wedding in downtown Chicago is just right up our alley. Add to that a fresh color scheme with pops of fuchsia, gorgeous fall weather and the most adorable couple, and you get a chic city wedding that’s full of sweet charm. We’re left grinning from ear to ear at the heartwarming display of love and sheer happiness bursting from these beautiful images captured by Miller And Miller.

Brittany and Kevin’s wedding was the result of some serious off-site planning: “I had the absolute best time planning our Downtown Chicago wedding. The greatest challenge we faced was the fact that we actually live in New Orleans, LA and were planning the entire wedding long distance, where a good number of our family was living. Yet, we had the best time with it and my now-husband was such a trooper throughout the stress, laughter, and tears of planning our dream wedding.”

“The day could not have been more perfect. While it was a bit windy (I mean, it IS the windy city), it was a gorgeous fall day. Our photographers, Miller and Miller, who Kevin and I knew well from our engagement photos, picked wonderful locations and that we, and our bridal party, loved. We did a first look earlier in the day in an alleyway, which we thought was unique!”

"The trolley took us around the city and we had a fantastic time joking around and posing for the pictures - in some unconventional locations! In addition to traveling to Olive Park where there was the beautiful Chicago skyline in the background, we also went to an abandoned warehouse/alley area. The bridal party was amazing, as they had to climb up rusted stairs -- and the girls were in heels!"
