What do you get when you combine the intoxicating world of fragrance with bridal fashion? You get Merche Segarra’s latest collection for Spanish bridal house Jesús Peiró.
Fragance and bridal gowns come together at Jesus Peiro’s 2015 “Perfume” collection presentation at Barcelona Bridal Week yesterday. As the name implies, the launch of the new collection coincided with the introduction of the label’s new fragrance, a sparkling eau de toilette with citrus base notes created by Daniel Josier. Against the backdrop of a flower (an homage to the delicate scent that inspired this collection), designer Merche Segarra presented a dreamy range of gowns with details drawn from the world of fragrance: crystal beads evocative of perfume droplets, dresses that flow like a fragrant trail. Chantilly lace and tulle, mostly in ivory or off-white, are matched with cabochon stones and beads in grey, gold and copper tones. Some of the gowns are adorned with paillettes which resemble petals, while others feature feminine bows. We love how effortlessly romantic and elegant these gowns are. A magical collection!
