Having recently reviewed a number of fashion-forward collections here on Wedding Inspirasi, Sally Lacock’s latest vintage inspired bridal collection is a breath of fresh air to us! Soft silhouettes abound in this lace-filled collection, with subtle drama achieved through exquisite draping and delicate embellishments (we love Carly’s glass buttons!):
“From a show-stopping liquid silk 1930s Hollywood inspired gown to the sleek elegant kimono style floral dress, the eclectic nature of this collection carries Sally Lacock’s distinctive stamp of enduring timeless style. There are cool ’70s prairie dresses, perfect for country nuptials, a gently graceful Ballet Russes inspired style with a stunning asymmetric draped skirt artfully knotted at the hem and a slinky dropped waist ’20s piece with its low back revealing an alluring flash of skin and lace. In contrast to this, the playful ’50s debutante inspired Sylvie dress with yards of tulle and elegant long lace sleeves evokes teh socialite portraist of Cecil Beaton and the high necked column shape of the Emmeline exudes and aristocratic opulence.”
