Francesca Miranda’s new bridal collection got us rubbing our hands in glee! Enjoy these beautiful images of Francesca Miranda’s Fall 2016 bridal collection as the South American designer dish out some clever styling tips on how to achieve the perfect New Year’s Eve wedding look:
For the bride: “Make a unique choice. Your guests can’t wait to ring in the new year celebrating you so look spectacular! It is a great opportunity to get out of the ordinary– think glamorous, maybe a great head piece to go with it, red lips, maybe even a 1920’s vibe. Have some fun with it! Also, don’t hesitate to accessorize. I am loving oversized pearls right now!”
For the Groom: “The groom shouldn’t necessarily match the bride, but he can have his own ‘glam’ too. Maybe in his corsage and accessories– add just a bit of shine, but not too much. Stick to darker colors like burgundy, dark blue or forest green.”
The Guests and Her Bridesmaids: “This is also an opportunity for the guests to wear something amazing. People love to wear sequins on New Years, but think different than the usual metallic colors. Maybe a more dramatic dress for the bridesmaids – it’s a date that should feel more special than the usual.”
The Shoes: "If your shoes are not totally visible, wear a good luck color! Maybe yellow or red? One that you celebrate with. For example, in Colombia everyone wears yellow in some part of their outfit for New Years. Maybe you can make it work too!"
The Décor: "There is definitely such a thing as too much glitter! Don't over do it. There are many ways to glam up your décor and stick with the NYE theme without the overuse of glitter. I would go more metallic and strong colors."
