When Vera Wang presented her Fall 2009 collection, I have to admit I was a little underwhelmed. Her Spring 2010 collection however restored my faith in this talented wedding gown designer. Beautiful, graceful and feminine pieces abound. Totally in love with Vera again!
Ah, I heart these two dresses. The french tulle A-line gown on the left would work well on most body types. I’m really loving the sheath right. I used to think empire-line or babydoll dresses would make one look a little full around the tummy but I realized that with the right fabric this is not a problem.
Two gowns with similar bow accessory – two ribbons attached to the right shoulder strap and waist – with very different looks. The one on the left is a diaphanous beauty with full layers of watercolor tulle and tissue organza; the right is a A-line creation with asymmetrical neckline.
More big bow sashes. The dress on the left looks like a large, beautifully wrapped wedding gift, don’t you think? On the right is an “asymmetrically draped bias tiered origami skirt”. Outstanding piece of bridal art, I say. And in a gorgeous shade of latte too.
