Today we have some beautiful gowns from the Walid Atallah’s collection that was showcased at New York Couture Fashion Week 2010. This is not the first time the talented Lebanese designer is presenting his collection in New York, having last featured at the 2009 Fashion Week.
Above: Lined tiers on the dress on the left produce and interesting topographical effect, while just a little tweak in the upper most tier, which falls in a v-shape manner, makes this dress special. Below right: a dress with so many different textures it looks like it’s constantly going from white to cream to silver.
Speaking of different colors, are you ready for some deep emerald greens with your cool whites?
One of the trademarks of the collection — bold accents coupled with elegant draping. Love the second dress from the right in the lineup below.
Not a big fan of green dresses in general but these made us sit up and look. Who knew green + silver could look so strikingly attractive. Apparently Walid knows something we don't! Hmm... there must be something in the water in Lebanon that's producing all these wonderful talents.
And what a stunning combination this two colors make. Love the short dress on the left below.
Unique silhouette on the wedding dress at the finale of the runway show.
