Here is the pale pink Jenny Packham gown that Kate Middleton wore to the ARK 10th Anniversary Gala charity dinner (also known as the dress that launched this blog post). Isn’t it beautiful? It’s from the Spring/Summer 2011 Ready-to-Wear collection. Upon closer inspection, we can conclude that the gown is actually not the same dress that Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester’s character) wore in one of the episodes of Gossip Girl. No, Blair’s dress is probably the one pictured below, from the same collection.
Note the differences in the belt, color, embellishments and silhouette — the Duchess of Cambridge’s dress is a sleek bias cut sheath while the Blair’s knee length dress has a blouson bodice.
More eye candy. Love all these belted dresses.
The one-shoulder dress on the left is the gown Sandra Bullock wore to the 2011 Golden Globes.
