In 2009 Charlotte debuted her collection for women who love vintage fashion and wanted a more personal experience with their dress choice. The début collection features beautifully handcrafted pieces inspired by dresses from 1850 to 1970 which includes original vintage details including antique buckles, beading and lace.
Above, Audrey 1940’s inspired wedding dress from the debut collection featuring antique beading to the waist which adds a unique vintage twist. Made from silk georgette with a peep hole back, available in ivory or antique white.
Maimuna gown inspired by a 1900 French wedding dress, is a combination of silk paneling and antique French and English lace with multi-layered train; Edie white georgette gown, a twist on the 40’s Audrey dress, with peep-hole back mirrored on the front over silk camisole, antique lace capped sleeves, a vintage beaded waist and antique diamante buttons to the front , back and sleeves.
In 2011 following the success of the debut collection Charlotte designed the Blanc collection. Taking inspiration from 1950’s corsetry to create a sumptuous collection of unique dresses using the softest metallic flecked tulles, feathers and petals. This collection sees Charlotte move towards a more sophisticated and glamorous look, whilst staying true to her vintage roots.
Below, Mabel made to measure sand-washed silk gown. It features a 50’s inspired corset under soft gathered gold flecked ivory tulle, three silk bands to the bodice and A-line skirt made from draped gold flecked tulle over sand-washed silk.
