Twinkling stars in the Milky Way. For most of us, this awe-inspiring sight is a thing of wonder and a beauty to be contemplated. For one Tony Ward, the celestial spread also inspired an entire collection of heavenly gowns guaranteed to make you the star attraction of your wedding day.
“Every year, in the middle of the Austral winter, the earth drowning in the night faces the Milky Way. This amazing spectacle of our galaxy under the most beautiful sky in the world is a real delight.
This unique experience inspired Tony Ward to create a collection of wedding dresses for a mysterious, ethereal, and magical bride.”
The 2014 bridal collection takes you on a cosmic ride to explore the richness and mysteries of the universe, as seen through the designer’s eyes. Ethereal silhouettes are fashioned from airy tulle and organza, luxurious crepe and satin and delicate lace. Bodices are given a meteor shower of fine and sparkling embroidery. Pure architectural lines reflect the geometric perfection of the stars.
