Not so Straight-Laced
If it looks like lace, it must be lace, right? Look again. Bridal designers are using materials such as pearls and beads in unconventional ways to simulate the look of lace. They are also experimenting with novel and innovative materials such as leather, wood, metal and plastic in their creations.
