Looking for a romantic gown that’s just drop dead gorgeous? Have we got a collection for you! Today’s beautiful gowns by Christos Costarellos are elegant and super romantic with lots of pretty, pretty lace. The brand was founded in 1998 in Athens, Greece by designer Christos Costarellos and features the use of exquisite laces, sourced from Europe, as its signature style.
The 2014 bridal collection features design details which subtly incorporate elements from the Greek tradition, such as the elaborate lace patterns found on the Aegean islands, as well as the clean-cut, minimal look of Ancient Greek dresses. The works of Charles Frederick Worth and Jeanne Lanvin also provided the inspiration for this stunning collection.
We love the whimsical play of intricate textures and ethereal fabrics. So dreamy! Here are some of our favorites: above, sleeveless mermaid gown with Chantilly lace bodice and silk organza flowers; below, lace and tulle strapless mermaid gown.
