Remember when colored wedding dresses were an exception? Now that blush is the new ivory, the world of bridal gowns is getting more colorful than ever before. In this third part of our 2015 wedding dress trend report, we’re talking colors.
Warm Metallics
Copper is the rising star of 2015, joining other equally popular warm metals like gold, rose gold and bronze.
Cool as Ice
We may be more than ready to let “Let It Go” go, but Frozen inspired colors and details are here to stay, at least for 2015.
Base for Lace
A lightly colored underlay, like blush or rose gold, allows beautiful lace designs to shine.
Dreamy Watercolor Prints
Multi-colored floral prints make for a stunning entrance.
Another take on this look -- floral prints softly diffused with ethereal overlays.
Pastels
Pastels are romantic yet fresh, and perfect for weddings in the spring or summer. Look out for wedding gowns and bridesmaids dresses in shades of light blue-green like mint, seafoam green and Tiffany blue.
Wine
Marsala, a deep reddish-brown tone is Pantone's color pick for 2015. We can definitely see shades of this color used on bridesmaids and flower girls for Fall weddings.
Bold Splashes of Color
Turn heads with bold pops of color, but leave the kids sketches to Angelina Jolie. Try contrasting lace accents or delicate embroideries with floral motifs.
