We’ve seen a lot of gorgeous gowns this month, but none quite as memorable as these dreamy creations by Nicolas Jebran. Executed in a palette of pinks and powdery beiges, the Spring 2015 Nicolas Jebran couture collection is a fascinating display of exquisite flower-inspired textures: floral appliques, both delicate and bold are used to great effect as a design base and accent; soft flounces form petal-like layers on skirts.
Whether it’s a voluminous ball gown or a statuesque sheath, there’s always an unexpected element incorporated — an asymmetric neckline here, a sheer insert there — and that’s what makes this such a remarkable collection.
