Houghton founder and designer Katharine Polk has unveiled a new size-inclusive wedding dress line, featuring looks crafted with ‘every body in mind’. The made-in-LA Katharine Polk Bridal collection features looks inspired by real brides with whom Polk has worked with over the years, plus styles voted on by her IG followers. Available in sizes 00-30, the gowns are shoppable online with a lead time of about 4-6 weeks.
“I’m excited, nervous and anxious to unveil my new namesake brand, which has been a labor of love,” said Katharine.” So much work has gone into building the foundation, including perfecting patterns of all sizes, sourcing fabrics and managing production so I can bring my brides an accessible and sustainable brand with the same quality, integrity and boundary breaking designs I’ve been known for in bridal. I couldn’t be prouder to be a self-funded and completely female run company. Although you can’t please everyone, I am committed to working hard to create something for everyBODY,” Polk said.
