Looking for a little something different for your wedding day? Della Giovanna might just be for you. Founded by New York fashion designer Michelle Della Giovanna, the inaugral Fall 2014 collection combines the glamour of traditional wedding dresses with edgy, fashion-forward detailing. Made locally in New York City, the collection features both gowns and separates which can be paired to create a variety of flattering silhouettes ranging from figure-flattering fit and flares to sleek mermaids.
“Brides often come to us because they like the top of one dress and the bottom of another, so when conceptualizing this collection, we felt it was important to create a varied selection of tops and bottoms,” said the designer. “Plus, some pieces are so versatile that they can be incorporated into the bride’s wardrobe long after the big day.”
Unconventional embellishments used in this collection include white leather, metal studs and python skin. Some of you might be thinking, “metal studs on a wedding dress?” but you’d be surprise how refined and wearable these ensembles are! Have a look!
