Hands up those of you who love Venice (that’s us)! Regardless of your feelings about the romantic city, we’re pretty sure you’ll be swooning over today’s gowns! The enchanted city of Venice provided the inspiration behind the Spring 2015 Watters “Venetian” bridal collection, and it features some of the most exquisite beading and laces we’ve seen in recent times.
For her latest collection, designer Vatana Watters took inspiration from the art, music, architecture and the pure romance of Venice. Gothic, Byzantine and Moorish architecture influences are evident in the ornate and intricate hand crafted embroidery with metallic beading. The opulent hand beaded dresses, further accentuated with hand placed lace appliqués, bring to mind Byzantine Era frescos and mosaics. A truly breathtaking collection!
