For the Spring 2017 Ivy & Aster “A Moment in Time” bridal collection, designer Jessica Brown celebrates the special moments and sentimentalism that brides experience during the wedding planning process. This romantic bohemian collection features wedding dresses in flowing silks, soft nets, lace and unique embroideries, along with mix and match separates and layering options for a customized look.
“Our focus was to revisit our past, and reflect on the vintage romantic quality that our brand is known for, celebrate the moments when a bride feels the overwhelming emotion of love, whether it’s when she’s shopping for her gown, when she incorporates a family heirloom into her wedding day, or the feeling she gets when she walks down the aisle. We really wanted each dress to have a reminiscent quality while still feeling current with today’s trends and styles. By focusing on the details such as embroidery, a craft practiced for centuries and handed down from generation to generation, our collection feels like a bit of an heirloom but still relevant to today’s bride.”
